Participants must be entering grades 8 to 12.
A jelly roll quilt is an ideal project for a beginner quilter. A jelly roll is a bundle of precut fabric strips. Each strip measures 2 ½” wide by 42″ -45″ long, which is the width of a bolt of fabric packaged in a rolled-up bundle, called a “jelly roll.” A jelly roll quilt is simply a quilt that is made of pre-cut, 2 ½” jelly roll strips. If you participated in the camp last year, you will make a new pattern. Campers will leave with a completed quilt!
