5s. London Bridge is Falling Down

Campers will start by learning about different types of bridges and the key elements of bridge design. Through interactive lessons and design challenges, they will brainstorm ideas, sketch concepts, and develop detailed plans for their bridges. Campers will construct their bridges using a variety of materials such as popsicle sticks, straws, cardboard, and more. Once the bridges are complete, it's time to put them to the test! Campers will participate in fun and engaging experiments to evaluate the strength, stability, and durability of their bridges. From weight-bearing challenges to simulated earthquakes, they'll discover firsthand how different factors impact bridge performance. There will be opportunities where campers showcase their bridges and compete against one another in a series of challenges. Judges will assess each bridge based on criteria such as aesthetics, efficiency, and strength, and awards will be presented to the most innovative and effective designs.
