Registration for this schedule starts on 02/26/2025 and ends on 07/11/2025
Participants must be entering grades 9 to 12.
Before digital cameras, there was an entire world of photography where images were made with film and processed in a darkroom. ESA has one of the few remaining darkrooms in Louisiana! In this camp, students will learn the process of photography in its original format. We will shoot with a film camera, process the negatives, enlarge and print them in the darkroom. We will also learn about light and its ability to aid us in making art objects, such as cyanotypes and photograms. Students will be exposed to wet lab chemicals and learn how to handle them appropriately when making artwork.
Please contact Episcopal School of Acadiana if you have any questions.
