Registration for this schedule starts on 02/28/2026 and ends on 06/05/2026
Participants must be entering grades 2 to 5.
Throughout the week, our young photographers will embark on daily "photo-scavenger hunts" across the beautiful ESA campus, learning that a great picture is about more than just pointing and shooting—it’s about perspective and storytelling. We will work on:
-The Magic of Composition: Using the "Rule of Thirds" to make photos pop.
-Lighting Lessons: Playing with shadows and finding the perfect light.
-Nature & Portraiture: Capturing the tiny details of the Lafayette landscape and the big smiles of new friends.
-Digital Artistry: A beginner-friendly introduction to editing and "developing" digital masterpieces.
The week culminates in a Pop-Up Gallery Exhibit, where campers will curate and display their favorite shots for a true artist's premiere. Whether they use a digital camera or a tablet, your child will walk away with a new way of seeing the world and a portfolio they are proud to share! (Students may borrow a camera from us or bring their own camera/tablet from home).
Please contact Episcopal School of Acadiana if you have any questions.
