Participants must be entering grades 1 to 3.
Have you ever dreamed of creating something amazing? Inventors imagine new things, solve problems, and bring their ideas to life! Whether it’s a flying car, a magic robot, or a super fun game, anyone can be an inventor! Do you want to learn how to think like an inventor, brainstorm cool ideas, and even try making your own inventions? Get ready to use your imagination and see what incredible things you can create! Let’s get inventing!
Students will use various robotic kits to help guide them through the engineering and design process. We would use a three step process:
-Put together a pre-designed prototype.
-Next they would alter the prototype to make it fully functional.
-Lastly they would design embellishments to make it more appealing.
During this entire process the kids will be using hands-on approach to the engineer and design process.
