Registration for this schedule starts on 02/28/2026 and ends on 06/19/2026
Participants must be entering grades 5 to 8.
Frame & Focus is designed for middle schoolers who want to bridge the gap between casual snapshots and professional-grade photography. In this workshop-style camp, students will explore the technical and artistic sides of photography through a series of "Creative Challenges" across the ESA Cade campus. We will also take a field trip to downtown New Iberia for an alternative landscape. We will focus on:
-Manual Mindset: Understanding the "Exposure Triangle" (ISO, Shutter Speed, and Aperture) to master any lighting environment.
Cinematic Composition: Moving beyond basics to explore leading lines, framing, and depth of field.
-Professional Post-Processing: An introduction to industry-standard editing tools to enhance colors, correct exposure, and develop a personal "aesthetic."
-Storytelling & Series: How to build a cohesive photo essay or portfolio rather than just individual shots.
-This camp is perfect for anyone who wants to level up in photography and experience the world through this artistic medium.
